Directions in Design Awarded J.E. Dunn Contract
WBE Design Firm Provides Ceiling Installation for Contractors

KANSAS CITY, Dec. XX, 2005 – JE Dunn Construction Company has awarded a contract to provide ceiling installation services to St. Louis-based Directions in Design.

A WBE firm, DID formed a joint venture with Acoustical Ceilings, Inc., also based in St. Louis. The two companies will partner to install ceilings for the H&R Block World Headquarters in Kansas City. Installation for the 17-story glass oval facility is projected to take about 18 months to complete.

“We have worked with Acoustical Ceilings previously on several projects and are looking forward to pursuing this newest venture,” said ______________, __________, Directions in Design. “The striking project will be a landmark on the Kansas City skyline and we are looking forward to its completion.”

The 572,758-square-foot building sits above a five-level underground parking garage, and is part of a larger mixed-use development. The project’s downtown location places the project in a very limited construction space. Completion is set for summer 2007.
